Rocking The Daisies 2018 Launches Ladies-Only Campsite

Rocking The Daisies 2018 Launches Ladies-Only Campsite

The 13th installation of #RTD2018 is starting the year off on a super positive note by taking safety to another level by providing a ladies only campsite. This is a step in the right direction as the previous year I went there was nothing like this and we all had to stay in the same place with the ladies, use the same showers and even toilets at times. This will definitely be appreciated by a lot of ladies as I know some had issues with standing in lines for showers with guys, cause truth be told we do the most in the shower.

The line-up hasn't been announced yet but trust and believe I will be updating you about it. The year I went (2016) we had Mac Miller as the headlining act and last year it was Joey Bada$$, Flume and Two Door Cinema Club. So it's without a doubt come 5-7 October 2018 the line-up will looking be HELLA GOOD!!!

HOW CAMPING WILL WORK THIS YEAR:

This year camping passes will be sold separately, this is ideal for those who prefer sleeping in the comfort of their own bed. Campers who snatch up tickets early will be able to secure the best spots, closest to the main gate and the festival arena. This will create cleaner camping grounds, smooth-running bathroom lines and improve security in each camping space. For those who thrive off of the energy in the main campsite and aren’t ones for glamping, then Priority Camping is for you. It’s a safe, controlled environment with better facilities (WC’s included), but wait, it gets better! This year we are introducing a Ladies Camp. The new women-only campsite will be a place for ladies to retreat, relax, camp and make friends with other women, and participate in women-centred experiences exclusive to Daisies (WC’s included).

Prices for weekend camping passes:

General Camping: R195 - R295 incl. VAT & booking fees
Priority Camping: R495 incl. VAT & booking fees
Ladies Camp: R495 incl. VAT & booking fees

The festival will be launching all Daisyland packages on the 26 March, to allow those who'd like to glamp it up to do so as we know not everyone is into roughing it up.
